Btms Emulsifying Wax

This vegetable wax is a gentle conditioner. Its mode of action is quite simple, attached to the hair shaft to make the hair soft and silky. It is also effective for reducing breakage and static electricity during brushing.

The Recipe For Solid Conditioner

Have you gathered all the ingredients to make your homemade treatment? So, get out of the little silicone molds and put on your apron. We’re going to start preparing this solid conditioner.

In a large saucepan, melt the following in a double boiler:

  • 20 g of shea butter
  • 20 g avocado butter
  • 10 g of coconut oil
  • 6 g of emulsifying wax
  • 4 g of BTMS emulsifying wax

Stir the mixture well to obtain a homogeneous paste, then remove the pan from the heat and let your concoction cool for a few moments before adding the remaining ingredients. Indeed, the preparation must not exceed 40° Celsius to avoid damaging the natural active ingredients. You can monitor the temperature using a food thermometer.

When the mixture reaches 40° Celsius, pour eight drops of vitamin E and 20 drops of true lavender essential oil into it. Mix the dough obtained and place it in your silicone molds. The recipe is finished! All you have to do is wait. Please wait 24 hours before unmolding the hair care product and another seven days before using it. This is essential to guarantee the solidity of the detangling pebbles. You can put these cosmetics in the refrigerator to speed up the setting.

The Conditioner Tablet: Instructions For Use

Using a solid conditioner for the first time can be confusing. Very often, we use too many products… The result? Dull, flat hair that grows fat quickly and lacks shine. In short, everything we hoped to prevent by adopting this solid product. Rest assured; it is possible to avoid these inconveniences with wise advice.

Here’s how to use your new beauty treatment in the shower:

  • Wet the pebble by passing it under hot water;
  • Rub the solid conditioner between your hands to collect a little product;
  • Apply the cream thus collected on your lengths and systematically avoiding your scalp;
  • Gently rub the pebble on your tips if your hair is very long, without insisting;
  • Leave the treatment on for 5 minutes before rinsing off with lukewarm water.

Dry your hair in the open air or with a hair dryer according to your habits. Your hair routine is over. One last tip, though: your solid conditioner is fragile. If you forget it in the shower, it will melt quickly and be wasted. In addition, bacteria could grow on its surface. Let it dry completely between each application to benefit from this hair care for 2 to 4 months.

You have just made your first solid conditioner. Are you seduced by DIY formulas and want to pamper your mane? Mix a few spoonfuls of apple cider vinegar with your final rinse water to seal the cuticles of your hair, then knead a little coconut cream on your ends to nourish and fortify them.
